stealthtext is private messaging on the blockchain — feeless, end-to-end encrypted, with both people hidden and no company in the middle. Messages are carried by the network itself and disappear in two weeks. Not another app promising privacy — the first messenger that moves words the way private crypto moves money.

The Problem
Every “private” messenger still runs on someone’s servers.
Signal, Telegram, even the “decentralized” ones — your messages ride infrastructure someone else
controls. A message funneled through a server you have to trust isn’t private, it’s permissioned.
Four ways today’s messengers break:
Problem 01
A company in the middle
One operator holds your messages and can see your social graph — compromise it, compel it, or switch it off and the privacy is gone.
Need · No operator
Problem 02
Metadata leaks who you talk to
Even with perfect encryption, the server still sees who contacts whom, when, and how often. The words are hidden; the relationship isn’t.
Need · Both ends hidden
Problem 03
Off-chain means a relay to trust
Even the decentralized messengers run on relay networks you must trust to carry and hold your messages. It’s someone’s infrastructure, off-chain, always.
Need · On the chain
Problem 04
Nothing really disappears
“Disappearing” messages sit on a server that promises to delete them. You’re trusting a policy, not the protocol.
Need · Auto-pruned

How It Works
One rail, both ends hidden
stealthtext doesn’t invent a messaging network. It reuses Stealth’s shielded rail — the
machinery that already moves money privately — to carry text instead. stealthtext inherits a channel
that’s proven, both ends hidden, and feeless.
SEND
A message is a shielded action
Your words are encrypted on your device, proven with a zk-STARK, and broadcast as a shielded action — sender and recipient hidden, no address on-chain, and no fee to send.
Feeless · both ends hidden
RECEIVE
Trial-decrypt on your device
Your app pulls shielded data and works out which messages are yours by decrypting them locally. The network never learns who the recipient is, and no server holds your inbox.
Pull-based · no server knows

In the app
Not a separate app to install
Nothing to install.stealthtext is the private messenger built into the
stealthsend wallet — desktop and mobile. Same keys, same accounts,
same shielded rail your payments ride. Messaging sits one click from Send and Receive.
One tab in the wallet✓✓ On-chain · privateGone in two weeks
Private even on your own screen.
Conversations stay blurred by default — address, identicon and preview reveal only on hover, or a tap on mobile. A glance over your shoulder gets nothing.
Every other private messenger runs on someone’s servers. stealthtext’s messages ride the chain itself — private.
Carried through a zk-STARK shielded channel that hides sender, recipient, and content — and pads every
message to the same fixed size, so even how long it is gives nothing away. Each message is authenticated with post-quantum zk-STARKs and sealed with post-quantum encryption end-to-end, so a captured copy can never be decrypted — now or against a future quantum computer. There is no company server
and no relay network to trust, compromise, or shut off; after two weeks a message is pruned from the
network entirely. On-chain, both ends hidden, feeless — the one thing no off-chain app can copy.
Every messenger that calls itself private still has to answer one question: who carries your messages?
For all of them, the answer is a server or a relay you have to trust. Only one rides the chain itself.

Every other messenger runs on something. Signal is centralized — one company, one set of
servers. Session and SimpleX are decentralized, but still a relay network you must trust to carry and hold your
messages. Only stealthtext’s messages live on the chain itself — no operator to
compromise, compel, or shut off. They’re genuinely private too; the difference is what carries the message.

Use Cases
Where private messaging matters
01
Conversations that stay yours
Everyday messages no company logs, mines, or can hand over — because there’s no company in the middle.
02
Journalists & sources
When even the fact that two people spoke is dangerous, both ends stay hidden and the trail prunes itself.
03
Organizers & activists
No phone number, no contact upload, no central server to seize — the network itself carries the message.
04
Confidential business
Deal terms, legal, and strategy that never touch a third party’s inbox or metadata logs.
05
High-value targets
Executives and holders whose social graph is the attack surface — hidden by default, carried on a post-quantum-authenticated shielded rail.
06
Anywhere metadata is the risk
When it’s not the words but who talked to whom that matters, this is the only rail that hides both.
07
Everyday privacy
Feeless and simple enough that private, disappearing messaging can just be the default — for everyone.
